Tarot beauty

Circus design-aerial silks performer

Inspired by the history of witchcraft within Edinburgh City centre, this project explores the use of recycled and reused materials in a performative setting. The crinoline shaped base and design for the silks head is made using recycled steel, and the corset has been up cycled from second hand clothing. The pomegranate represents fertility and has been Gocco-Printed onto the aerial silks. The story follows a tarot reading, and follows a promenade performance through the streets of Edinburgh, meeting new characters as you go.
